Jain Wedding Catering — Strict Observance, Full Flavor
Jain catering is a discipline. No onion, no garlic, no potato, no garlic, no ginger, no carrots, no beets, no root vegetables of any kind, and traditionally no food prepared after sunset. Most caterers cannot do this properly — substitutions are noticeable and elders will know. Aroma Curry runs a separate Jain section in our kitchen with dedicated utensils, oils and prep surfaces.
A Real Jain Menu Without Compromise
Paneer makhani (cashew-tomato base, no onion-garlic), Jain dal, yellow moong dal, kadhi, vegetable curry with above-ground vegetables only (cauliflower, peas, beans, capsicum, tomato), Jain biryani, jeera rice, rotli, puri, theplas. From the farsan station: dhokla, khandvi, dhebra, methi muthia, patra, kachori. All ingredients sourced and verified separately.
How We Handle the Strict Rules
Our Jain kitchen has dedicated cutting boards, knives, kadhais, tavas and serving spoons. The Jain section operates in a separate area of the kitchen with its own sink. Cooking oil is not reused from non-Jain prep. For traditional families observing the no-cooking-after-sunset rule, we prepare meals in the morning and serve as needed. We have catered for chaturmas observances and full Jain wedding sequences.
Sweets & Desserts
Mohanthal, churma laddoo, basundi, shrikhand (with verified non-onion-garlic curd), kaju katli, mysore pak, badam halwa, gulab jamun made with khoa from a Jain dairy source. We can do full mithai platters and a live jalebi station. All desserts use Jain-verified ingredients including the ghee and dairy supply chain.
