South Indian Wedding Catering Across Mexico
South Indian weddings have a distinct food culture — lighter rice-based dishes, fermented batters, coconut and curry leaves, and an emphasis on freshness and balance. Aroma Curry caters authentic South Indian wedding menus across all major destinations in Mexico, with chefs who specialize in Tamil, Andhra, Karnataka and Kerala cuisines.
A True South Indian Spread
Idli, vada, masala dosa, rava dosa, uttapam — all made fresh on a live tava station. Sambar with three vegetables, coconut chutney, tomato chutney, coriander chutney. For the main meal: Hyderabadi biryani (the gold standard), Andhra-style chicken curry, Chettinad chicken, Kerala fish curry, lemon rice, coconut rice, curd rice. Vegetarian guests get full thali service with rasam, kootu, poriyal and aviyal.
Banana Leaf Service for Traditional Touches
For couples honoring South Indian customs, we offer authentic banana leaf service — guests are seated at long tables and served traditional courses in order. We import fresh banana leaves and follow the proper sequence: rice and ghee first, then curries, sambar, rasam, vegetables, papad and pickles, ending with payasam. This is especially meaningful for ceremony-day meals and elder relatives who grew up with this format.
Sweets & Filter Coffee
Payasam (rice or vermicelli), Mysore pak, badam halwa, kesari bath and coconut barfi. Our filter coffee station — strong dark decoction served with hot frothy milk — is a hit with South Indian guests of every generation. We can also do a Madras-style chai station with masala chai if you want to combine traditions.
