South Indian Wedding Catering in Mexico City
Mexico City is our home base — our flagship restaurant has been featured in Quién, Animal Gourmet and Milenio. For South Indian weddings in CDMX, we offer full traditional service including authentic banana leaf meals, live dosa stations, and South Indian sweets at venues like The St. Regis, Four Seasons, JW Marriott and historic haciendas.
The South Indian CDMX Menu
Idli, vada, masala dosa, rava dosa, uttapam — all live on a tava. Sambar with three vegetables, coconut chutney, tomato chutney, coriander chutney. Hyderabadi biryani (the gold standard), Andhra-style chicken curry, Chettinad chicken, Kerala fish curry, lemon rice, coconut rice, curd rice. Vegetarian thali with rasam, kootu, poriyal and aviyal. Desserts: payasam, Mysore pak, badam halwa, kesari bath.
Banana Leaf Service in Mexico City
For ceremony-day meals and elder-relative-focused events, we offer authentic banana leaf service at CDMX venues. We import fresh banana leaves and follow the traditional sequence: rice and ghee first, then curries, sambar, rasam, vegetables, papad, pickle, ending with payasam. Guests are seated at long tables in the traditional South Indian wedding-meal format. Most CDMX venues accommodate this without issue.
Why CDMX Is Different
Catering in Mexico City means we work from our flagship restaurant kitchen — no equipment travel, no perishables import, full team available. This translates to lower cost, faster scaling for last-minute changes, and the freshest possible ingredients. For couples deciding between CDMX and a beach destination, the food quality differential is real — beach destinations require more logistics, while CDMX gets you our daily-running kitchen.
